About the Course
The course is an innovative and cost-effective way to refresh yourself on the principles and characteristics of incident management. The Aide-memoire is a credit-card sized foldout which is effectively a précis of the Incident Management Plan and can be carried in your wallet to be ready-to-hand when you need it. It emphasises the roles and tasks of those responsible for incident management and provides a signpost to the all-important incident management process.
If those responsible for responding to a major incident have an Aide-memoire, understand the process of how to effectively respond to an incident and have an Action List of the practical tasks they need to carry out they are well equipped to respond to any incident of whatever scale, wherever or whenever it may occur.
We call this the ‘AMPAL’ approach (Aide-memoire, Process and Action Lists)! The course will enable you to develop your organisation’s own bespoke Aide-memoire which can be carried in a wallet or developed as an App to be ready to hand when it is needed.
