Simon is an acknowledged authority in Business Continuity and Crisis and Disaster Management with extensive experience of developing, implementing, and exercising crisis management in large multi-site organizations.
A former Lieutenant Colonel in the British Army, with experience of anti-terror operations, he has assisted such organizations as the Bank of England, HMRC, NATS, British Airways, BBC, Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway Corporation, the Bank of International Settlements, and Banca D'Italia with their Business Continuity management and Crisis and Disaster planning.
Simon is a winner of the Business Continuity Consultant of the Year award, a Member of the BCI, and has assisted BSI and the Cabinet Office in the development of the new Crisis Management standard, BS11200.
