Success For Inaugural Summer School - (From Continuity - The Journal of the BCI)
The first Continuity Shop Summer School was held at the picturesque Cotswolds Conference Centre offering a fresh, new approach to summer training which gave both industry newcomers and experienced practitioners the chance to improve their confidence and knowledge.
Four expert tutors provided a variety of course choice and specialist advice, ranging from BCM initiation to advanced topics, media and crisis communications and the human issues.
Each day, delegates reported that they were gaining so much - both from formal training and each other. By the end, they displayed their enhanced skills in an impressive array of Crisis Management Exercises, which they devised, wrote and managed themselves.
The social Side was not forgotten with Continuity Shop hosting social events each evening, highlighted by their elegant Gala Dinner with an entertaining speech by crisis communications expert Michael Bland.
This inaugural event was so popular that it was sold out and disapointed applicants were turned away, so book early for the Continuity Shop Summer School 2007.
