ISEB Certificate in Information Security
Management Principles
A comprehensive explanation of information
security management leading to an ISEB industry qualification.
Summary:
This five day practical course and qualification, is administered
and managed by ISEB – the Information Systems Examination Board division
of the British Computer Society.
The course will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of
each of the concepts that underlie effective information security
management including confidentiality, integrity, availability, vulnerabilities,
threats, risks and countermeasures. The current legislation and regulations
that impact information security in the UK will also be discussed,
as well as the standards and frameworks that facilitate the management
of information security.

The course will benefit individuals that need to understand the different
domains of information security and how they interrelate, including
information security managers, system and network administrators and
those involved in IT seeking to extend their career to IT security.

Course pre-requisites
A detailed technical knowledge is not required although the BCS/ISEB
recommend that you should have a minimum of twelve months IT experience
