Travel by TrainAt Moreton in Marsh there is a ramp (1 in 12) from one platform to the other via the new footbridge. Ramps are used to disembark from the trains. The ticket office is manned until 1pm, outside of these hours the on-train staff will assist with disembarking from the train. There is level access from the road to the ticket office. There is one parking bay for disabled and no toilet suitable for wheelchair access. This station is managed by First Great Western. At Evesham station there is very limited access for wheelchairs. There is level access to Worcester platform but no step free access to Oxford platform as at January 2005. They have a plan with Worcestershire County Council to install a ramp to access one platform, while the other has access from the ticket office/general buildings. Therefore, this station is not ideal at the moment for wheelchairs. There are 2 parking bays for disabled and with an accessible toilet on the Worcester platform only. This station is managed by First Great Western. Web sites which may be of use : |
