Geoff Howard, CEO,
Geoff worked in sales and marketing for 'Business Continuity
Magazine' and then went on to become a founding director of CHI Publishing,
home of Information Security Bulletin and Risk & Continuity
Magazine. Geoff subsequently took the position of 'Head of Business
Development and Marketing' at Surefire Communications, before founding
Continuity Shop.

Sam Howard, Sales and Development
Director
Sam worked for over 15 years in the Travel Industry.
In that time he was quickly promoted to a Managerial Level. He
headed a number of departments at his previous Company where he
remained for over ten years, fully commited to improving the Business.
Sam joined Continuity Shop in 2005.

Alfred Howard , Development
Manager,
Alfred studied Sciences and Mathematics at A-Level
and went on to read Philosophy at The University of Leeds. After
graduating he spent a year tutoring undergraduates, in Ethics,
Logic and Methaphysics before joining the Continuity Shop team.

Hilary Herman, Accounts and
Administratation Specialist,
Hilary joined the Continuity Shop team having
specialised in accounts and administration in the Industrial Manufacturing
industry.

Kim Causier, Customer
Contact Executive,
Kim is a part time employee of Continuity Shop,
and a full time post graduate student. After graduating with a
BA in Modern Languages Translation and Interpreting from the University
of Salford, Kim entered the world of business and worked as a
translator in Spain. She is now working towards a Post Graduate
qualification in Spanish and French Translation, as well as carrying
out this key role for Continuity Shop.

Xin Xin Chen, Greater China
Business Development Manager,
Xin Xin along with Jia Zhuang (Michelle) is responsible
for developing our presence in China. Xin Xin has an MSc in International
Business, a BA in Accounting and is currently finishing her MA
in Translation at Manchester University. She is also a volunteer
with the Chinese Women's Society and the Chinese Mental Health
Association.

Jia Zhuang (Michelle), Greater
China Business Development Manager,
Michelle is responsible, along with Xin Xin, for developing
our presence in China. She has a BA in Business Administration, a post
graduate qualification in Global Marketing and has just completed an
MA in Strategic Logistic Solutions. She has been sales manager in a
Chinese herbal medicine shop. Her many interests include cooking.

Ian Charters FBCI, Non-Executive
Director,
After a short career as a school teacher Ian worked
as a project manager and systems designer for a Facilities Management
company with several blue-chip clients. His contingency planning experience
was gained with a warm-start facility supplier where he developed concepts
and methods to assist clients in all aspects of contingency planning.
He has applied these to projects in the manufacturing, insurance, construction,
transport, financial services, health care, NGO, computer services,
petrochemical, retail, government and local authority sectors. He was
elected a Member of the Business Continuity Institute in 1997, a Fellow
in 2004 and is now an elected Board member and held the position of
Chair of its Education Committee for two years.

Helen Sweet MBCI, Non-Executive
Director,
Helen accrued seven years of business and management
experience including marketing, advertising, online production and best
practice, business development, contact centre management, operations,
customer experience, corporate governance and people management. This
unique mix of skills proved to be an invaluable basis on which she built
her Business Continuity capabilities. Helen began to use these capabilities
working for Wanadoo and in recognition of her Business Continuity and
Crisis Management work was awarded the prestigious international title
of Best Newcomer to the Business Continuity Industry - 2004. Immediately
following this Helen spent a year working as a BC consultant for Siemens,
before setting up as an independent consultant and trainer.

Mike Mikkelsen FBCI, Non-Executive
Director,
Mike is the CEO of Redan International. He is a former
member of the BCI Board of Directors and chairs the Communications Management
Association Special Interest Group on Risk, Availability & BC. Mike
was responsible for BT’s BC Commercial activities until the year 2000
and managed the BT portfolio of BC and DR Services.

About Continuity Shop
Continuity Shop works with associate organisations to provide a comprehensive
range of BCM training courses and to offer high quality consultancy
packages. We work with our associates to ensure that courses are BCI-Endorsed
and delivered to the highest standard.
Our consultants are all Members or Fellows of the Business Continuity
Institute, and have a minimum of five years BC experience. They each
have experience across a number of sectors.
We have worked hard with trainers to ensure that both introductory
courses, and advanced specialist courses
are available, which cover all areas of Business Continuity Management.
We also offer technical courses covering
IT Disaster Recovery and other technical continuity issues.
If you have a training need that is not met by courses listed on our
web site, we would like to hear from you so that we can contact trainers
with a view to expanding the portfolio of courses available.
Continuity Shop is a Founder of the Business Continuity Institute's
Partnership and we works to promote the BCI's aims and objectives.
We also partner the British Standards Institute in their provision
of Business Continuity Training.
