Summary:

This course is to be rewritten for 2009. The new course will reflect both the latest developments in ITDR and will also recognise the fact that telecommunications technology and IT can no longer be treated as two separate areas. In keeping with this the progression in technology, the course will be launched in 2009 with the new title 'Continuity in ICT'.

Business Continuity Managers wanting to learn more about the technical element of Business Continuity, and - IT Managers or technicians tasked with implementing technical continuity plans, who need to understand how to make sure their plans meet the business requirements

• Telecommunications and Networking
• Testing and Exercising technical plans
• Documenting technical plans
• Business Continuity Planning for the IT Department

Course Presenters:

Ian is an experienced Business Continuity professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications field. Having served in the UK forces, Ian went on to become Head of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery at Orange, and was there until 2005. Mike was responsible for BT’s BC Commercial activities until the year 2000 and managed the BT portfolio of BC and DR Services.
